Antique Car Insurance Advice

How To Obtain Car Insurance For An Antique Car

Many people choose to restore and show antique cars as a hobby. But even these cars need some type of insurance to protect against accidental damage. This is why many people search for car insurance for an antique car. There are many companies available that provide car insurance for an antique car, with many companies specializing in antique car insurance. By having a wide variety of car insurance companies to choose from, the consumer has the ability to choose the right type of insurance for their needs.

Car Insurance Companies

Many commercial car insurance companies can also provide car insurance for an antique car. Also called collector car insurance, these policies are tailored to the car you are attempting to insure. A car insurance representative will take all of your information and discuss different policy options with you to ensure that you are obtaining the coverage that you need. They will also help you decide which types of coverage are within your target budget and which deductible and limit levels you will need.

Purchasing car insurance for an antique car through a commercial car insurance company will give the policy holder peace of mind, knowing that the company that they have chosen to do business with is an established company with a good reputation. The policy hold may also have their everyday use cars insured with the same company. The security of having an established company provide car insurance for an antique car is well worth the premium that they will charge you to provide insurance for your antique car.

Independent Insurance Companies

There are also many independent insurance companies available to purchase car insurance for an antique car. These companies tend to specialize in antique car insurance and will not insure any other types of cars. Some of these independent insurance companies will only insure a particular type of antique car, so if the car you are attempting to insure is a rare one, if may be difficult to find an insurance provider that will insure it. When choosing an independent insurance company to provide car insurance for an antique car, be sure that the company is a reputable one. You do not want to find that after months of paying the insurance premiums that the company will not or is unable to pay your insurance claim.

Finding car insurance for an antique car can be a lengthy and frustrating process, but the benefits of having insurance for the car far outweighs the initial hassle of finding the insurance. Many antique cars are worth many thousands of dollars and that is a big loss if the car is ever stolen or totaled. Having car insurance for an antique car may be the most valuable insurance that you ever purchase.

Mesothelioma Cancer and Asbestos

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer which occurs in thin membranes (called the mesothelium) lining the chest, lungs, abdomen and sometimes the heart. Although quite rare, mesothelioma symptoms strike more than 200 people each year in the United States. The majority of mesothelioma cases are directly linked to asbestos exposure.

Because of the long latency period of mesothelioma, the average age of patients is between 50 and 70 years. Mesothelioma affects men most due to the high exposure of asbestos in industrial typed jobs. Mesothelioma symptoms include respiratory problems, shortness of breath, continual cough and pneumonia. Other mesothelioma symptoms include weight loss, abdominal problems and swelling. In some mesothelioma patients, the mesothelioma symptoms are quite muted, making it hard for mesothelioma doctors to diagnose.

Mesothelioma doctors specialize in the study, research, and treatments of Mesothelioma cancers.

Mesothelioma (or the cancer of the mesothelium) is a disease in which cells become abnormal and replicate without control. During Mesothelioma, these cells will invade and damage tissues and organs. Mesothelioma cancer cells can spread throughout the body causing death.

Mesothelioma treatments and Mesothelioma clinical trials and tests There are many mesothelioma treatment options available. Treatments include surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy and the mesothelioma treatment depends on the patients age, general health and stage of the cancer. There has been much mesothelioma research conducted throughout the past two years to find new treatment methods. Click here to read more about mesothelioma treatment techniques.

Through mesothelioma research, The National Cancer Institute has sponsored mesothelioma tests and clinical trials that are designed to find new treatment methods. Because of the increase in number of mesothelioma cases in the United States, both governments have increased funding for mesothelioma research. Mesothelioma research and clinical trials have been successful in developing new techniques to fight this cancer and the outlook for more advanced mesothelioma treatments is promising.

Surgery is the most common treatment method for malignant mesothelioma. Tissues and linings affected by mesothelioma are removed by the doctor and may include the lung or even diaphragm.

A second mesothelioma treatment method is radiation therapy through the use of high energy x-rays that kill the cancer cells. Radiation therapy can be outside or inside the body.

A third mesothelioma treatment method is chemotherapy. Through pills or drugs through needles, chemotherapy drugs are used to kill cancer cells.

A new mesothelioma treatment method is called intraoperative photodynamic therapy. In this treatment, light and drugs are used to kill cancer cells during surgery for early stages of mesothelioma in the chest. Although there are numerous treatments and drugs for mesothelioma, doctors are loosing the battle against this deadly disease. Most mesothelioma treatments involve old techniques combined with different drug cocktails. However, in most cases, these mesothelioma treatments have many side effects including organ damage, nausea, increase in heart failure etc. The rush to find a more effective mesothelioma treatment or even cure is ongoing at numerous clinical labs across the nation. Let's hope that the mesothelioma treatments will one day erradicate mesothelioma cancer and asbestosis.

With an abundance of information on the Internet, Mesothelioma Cancer and Asbestos (http://www.mesothelioma-cancer-and-asbestos.com) has consolidated the most important issues surrounding Mesothelioma, Mesothelioma doctors and symptoms, Mesothelioma treatment, Mesothelioma research and tests.

At http://www.mesothelioma-cancer-and-asbestos.com, the website contains useful resources on Mesothelioma lawyers and attorneys, as well as causes by asbestos exposure, asbestos removal, asbestos attorneys and lawsuits, and asbestos cancer. Patients stricken by Mesothelioma and their families require support and current information. Mesothelioma Online Resources hopes to educate and give hope to survivors and victims.

Mesothelioma is such a harsh disease. Not only does it take years for symptoms to appear, but there are limited treatements and drugs that will prolong the lives of workers stricken with mesothelioma. In many cases, the death rate of mesothelioma is unfortunately very high. However, with increased funding in mesothelioma research through the government and private grants, the outlook for a mesothelioma cure is quite possible. In the meantime, mesothelioma support groups and local discussions provide the ongoing support for mesothelioma patients.

What Kind Of Boat Insurance Coverage Do I Need?

Deciding what kind of boat insurance coverage you need depends on many variables. To start off, the type of insurance you need depends on what kind of boat you have. Being familiar with boats you would need to look at the different variations between the various types of boats that are in the world.

For instance, a speedboat capable of high speeds requires a much different type of insurance than a small fishing vessel would because of the potential liability for the insurance company that comes with a speedboat compared to a fishing boat.

Another consideration is the value of the boat. Insurance rates covering a highly expensive craft are going to be higher because the amount that could be lost is much higher. If instead you are watering a small, low cost boat and you want coverage against damage to other boats that you may come in contact with, then the rates would be much lower,

There are many similarities between boat and car insurance. Risk assessment for an insurance company is based on many factors with car insurance just the same with boat insurance. Before an insurance company will offer any kind of coverage for a water craft they will make sure to determine all the possible ways that the coverage could cost them money. To do this they will take the age of the boat, the record of the owner and primary driver, the value of the boat and the area where the boat will he housed for at least six months out of a year.

Just like automobile insurance, there are two distinct types of boat insurance. Full coverage insurance is just like it sounds, it covers pretty much everything including loss due to theft, fire, accident, and many other types as well. There are several clauses involved in full coverage insurance that work to limit the liability that the insurance company will need to cover that these are par for the course with an insurance company. Full coverage insurance is normally mandatory when you finance a boat or a car for that matter. This is in place to protect the bank against loss should anything happen to the boat before it is paid for. Full coverage insurance is the most expensive of all insurance plans as the risk to the insurance company is the greatest with this type of policy.

When financial loss will not be great and a budget is stretched a little thin then you may want to consider liability only insurance. Under a liability only policy, the insurance company is responsible to pay for only damage to other persons or property and the owner of the boat receives nothing. This is the basic insurance required by law for cars and in some areas it is required for boats as well depending on the size and usage of the craft. This type of insurance does not protect against loss of any type and will pay only a specified amount for injured persons in the case of an accident.

You should check your local laws requiring insurance on watercraft to be sure that you are staying within the parameters.

Mansi Aggarwal recommends that you visit http://www.independent.ws/2006/01/how_much_boat_i.html for more information on boat insurance coverage.

How to Open a Clothing Boutique

A boutique is a small retail shop that generally offers specialized products and services. The most common boutiques sell crafts, gifts, accessories and apparel. Boutiques have always been popular for the variety that they bring to a mall or shopping center and that popularity has increased as the number of small business owners has likewise increased. Customers come to boutiques in search of unique merchandise at reasonable prices with a quality service experience.

In order to open a boutique a potential owner must start with a desire to work in the retail industry and enjoy interacting with the public. Most boutique owners are those that choose to break away from the day-to-day grind of working for someone else and take the plunge into small business ownership. These owners are looking for flexibility in their schedules and to have control over their lives as well as financial stability. Boutique ownership can be a major step on this path. Making the decision that you want to open your own boutique is the first step and one that should be applauded. You will want to start by putting a business plan and financial plan on paper before you physically lease a space or buy your inventory. This paper version will not only help you to focus your efforts, but as you look for financial assistance you will be asked for your business plan by just about everyone you deal with. Before anyone wants to put money into your efforts they want to see that you've thought about where you're going and how you're going to get there.

As you create your business plan you will need to consider such factors as:

What niche will my boutique fill? Where will I get my merchandise? What location is right for my boutique? How will I advertise my boutique?

Getting the answers to these questions will set you on the right path for the action that will help you get your boutique open and make it successful!

What niche will my boutique fill?

This question is perhaps the most important to answer as it is the basis for the rest of your work. A boutique that is just like every other boutique in the area will struggle to be successful. You must offer some angle of your boutique that is unique. This may be the type of merchandise you carry, or the age group you are appealing to, your pricing, or simply a customer experience that is so positive that it will bring customers, and, most importantly, their friends and family in for repeat business. In order to decide what you want to do you need to consider, first of all, what you like and second of all what is missing in your area. If you love Asian style nick nacks and accessories this may be where you'd like to focus your work. Take a good look around your local shopping centers and malls and see if there are other stores already offering these items. If there is not you easily have a niche to fill. If there are other such stores get to know them and see if there is a unique angle you can use in your approach to stay competitive and bring customers your way.

Once you have determined what your niche is get it down in your business plan, as well as what specific items you would like to sell. Using our Asian style accessories idea you might write down the following:

- Small bamboo plants - Tea sets - Oriental fans - Incense - Buddha statues

Once you have a good idea of what you are looking for you can move forward into figuring out where you will acquire your merchandise from and how much you will need in order to open your doors. You may not be able to carry everything that you'd like to at first, but remember that your boutique will grow by nearly 15% per year, provided things go well, and you will have opportunity to expand your lines as your finances allow.

Where will I get my merchandise?

Before you begin any shopping you will need to do some paperwork to acquire your wholesale license. This is critical as you will want the opportunity to purchase merchandise directly from the manufacturers, and most will require such a license before they will sell to you. If you buy your merchandise at the same price you sell it for you can't make money. As well if you have to over price your merchandise in order to make up for purchasing at too high of a cost, your business will be short lived. You need to put yourself in the best position possible to buy at the lowest rate possible so even with your profit and expense mark up your prices are still in the range the customer is willing to pay.

Get familiar with your local marketplace and what wholesalers and manufacturers are close by. Many of these can be visited on a day-to-day basis and may carry many of the items that you want to sell. For your seasonal buying you may wish to look outside of your local area and towards one of the bigger population centers. Many of the larger cities in the United States, including: Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, have large merchandising shows and markets where you can meet up with manufacturers and sales representatives to get higher quality and higher quantities for your boutique. You will want to shop for an approximately three-month supply for your inventory at this big shows. Take the time to meet people at these shows and get on mailing lists for the merchants that you most like. Do not be pressured to buy immediately, but take time through the show to compare and contrast merchants and get the merchandise that YOU want.

What location is right for my boutique?

Usually the biggest consideration in boutique location is whether you want to be located in a shopping center, a mall, or a single location. The last is the most expensive and often not a good choice for a starting boutique, though may become a possibility once you are better established. The pro of a mall location is that you are guaranteed a certain amount of random traffic simply because of the number of people that frequent a mall. The biggest drawback is that you must play by the rules of the mall, which may effect your hours of operation and your allowed décor. In a shopping center the Landlord may still have come control over these aspects, but such interference is much rarer provided you continue to pay your lease. No matter what you choose you should bargain for at least 30 days rent free as you will need this time to set up your shop before opening to the public.

How will I advertise my boutique?

Advertising is a multi billion dollar business in the retail industry. When you are first opening your boutique you will not have the money for a huge marketing budget. Don't worry about this, but make efforts to use the budget you do have as wisely as possible. Hand out fliers, have a grand opening party and invite other shop owners, invite your local chamber of commerce to have a meeting in your shop, and most importantly talk about your shop to everyone you meet. Word of mouth is one of the most powerful tools you have, and if your shop provides a good customer experience you will see success in customers that will return time after time and, even better, bring others with them to your boutique.

FOREX Trading - Diversify For Lower Risk and Greater Reward

Most forex traders like to trade the majors only but in my view you can get some great opportunities in some of the minor currencies. You can diversify and get more profit opportunties

Lets look at two that can add some diversification and have some great trends you can take advantage of.

Two good currencies to trade alongside the majors are the Canadian and Australian Dollar.

While not as liquid as the majors, they offer some great trading opportunities for traders with a longer-term outlook.

Lets look at opportunities in these currencies.

We will use the free chart service futuresource.com and look at the IMM futures contract, although same logic of course applies to the cash.

The Australian Dollar

If you look at the chart you will see that this currency has been trading in a range since December.

The same system we have used to range trade the majors works here as well.

You can simply use stochastic crossovers to trade against support and resistance until a major break appears.

At present the Australian dollar looks set to test the top of the range, if it breaks through the mid point of the Bollinger band.

The Canadian Dollar

The Canada is trending down against the dollar and has had a rally - this should end shortly.

The key to look for is a cross in stochastic momentum with bearish divergence to indicate the downtrend will resume.

Like the Yen the Canada is bearish and rallies are selling opportunities.

These currencies add some diversification to any forex trading portfolio and the Canadian Dollar in particular offers a great strong trend to the downside where you can sell rallies.

Dont fall in love with one currency simply trade the ones that have the best opportunities and risk to reward.

At the present we would in terms of trend following have the Canadian dollar with the yen as the strongest trend to trade.

In the Canadian dollar a great short opportunity is presenting itself as it corrects oversold status.

Wait for the price momentum to turn south with the stochastic showing bearish divergence and when this occurs a test of the lows should occur.

As with any currency wait for the stochastic to give you the signal - dont anticipate wait for confirmation.

Countertop Materials: Comparing Kitchen Countertop Materials

I was helping my daughter having her kitchen remodelled recently. She was having problems trying to decide on a new countertop material. Walking through the counters area in Home Depot gave her a few ideas, but she was still undecided when the time came to choose a month later. I decided to write out a quick comparison of all the materials and costs for her and when I was done I thought other people might find it useful as well, so here goes.

Most people are familiar with laminate countertops. (Formica is one brand name.) Theyre a thin surface of high-pressure laminate applied to a thicker base of plywood or particleboard. Pluses: The standby, available in literally hundreds of patterns and colors, laminates are the least expensive (next to tile) and durable, requiring less upkeep than tile. Minuses: Easy to scorch with hot cookware, the use of layers in their construction makes it tricky to repair chips, show scratches, especially lighter colors, so not usable as a cutting surface. Less durable than natural stone or solid surface; use with under mount sinks is not recommended. Cost: $25 to $50 foot

Solid surfacing, (brand names Corian, Fountainhead, Avonite and Surrell) a newer countertop material, is durable and mimics the appearance of natural stone materials like marble or granite. Pluses: Gives seamless surfaces, easy to care for. High impact resistance, easily repaired, nonporous and seamless, so won't trap dirt, collect bacteria or stain; easily. Minuses: May melt from hot pot; looks non-natural in some color schemes, licensed contractor required for installation and repair work. Cost: $60 to $110 per foot.

Natural woods. Used in butcher-block style arrangement. Maple, oak and other hardwoods, make durable and elegant countertops. Pluses: Good surface for cutting foods; scratches easily repaired by sanding; easy match with wood cabinets and floors. Minuses: Requires a finish to preserve appearance, may scorch with hot cookware, allows bacterial growth, so needs regular cleaning. Not practical for entire countertop good for small sections. Cost: $50 to $75 per foot

Granite. Popular for their elegant and rich look, natural stone countertops will last longer than most kitchens. Pluses: Adds to value of home, hard durable surface, very heat resistant. Minuses: very expensive, requires care since it is porous and must be sealed periodically, grease will stain. Cost: 60 to $200 per foot for granite $60 to $130 per foot for marble (stains easily and not recommended for food prep countertop)

Ceramic or Porcelain Tile: This is the countertop material my daughter was replacing. While the counters were in pretty bad shape, refurbishing was an option. Tile has a comforting, classic look and is inexpensive.. Pluses: Easy to clean up after a mess. More heat resistant than laminates solid surfaces, inexpensive, unless you are thinking about custom or hand-painted tiles. Minuses: Can chip and crack easily; needs regular maintenance to keep bacteria out of grout. Scrubbing grout. Cost: $10 to $25 per foot.

So, what countertop material did she choose in the end? For its reasonable cost and reparability, Corian got the nod for the new kitchen. We found a color that was very close to a granite look and we also liked the ten year warranty.

Billet Grilles Can Lead To An Obsession For Good Looks

The vehicles we drive are a reflection of our own identities. That's why hunting for a new set of wheels is not simply a matter of choosing any vehicle that's on sale down at the lot. On the contrary, we all have our own complex list of criteria that guides us through the decision making process. For some, nothing is more important than engine size and transmission type. For others, it's all about trunk space.

However, the one unifying criterion that is at the top of everyone's list is style. There is something about the unique design of certain cars, trucks and SUVs that attracts us, often in very primal, inexplicable ways. Like moths to the warming glow of a light bulb, we are drawn in by the curves, lines and contours of certain vehicles. And, once they catch our eye, we are driven to acquire them, or at least another vehicle that looks quite similar.

Even after our thirst for the right automobile is quenched, we still want to project our own unique personality into its design. While there are superficial ways of doing this (e.g. a pair of fuzzy-dice dangling from the rear view mirror, or a personalized license plate frame that often reads, "I'd rather be golfing"), there are more substantial ways of modifying the attitude of your vehicle.

A simple yet significant way of customizing your vehicle's presence is by upgrading the stock grille to a more powerful, more expressive billet grille. AutoAnything carries a huge array of high-quality billet grilles in an almost endless number of designs, so you're sure to find one that perfectly matches and reflects your individual sense of style.

Before you begin sifting through an extensive stock of premium billet grilles, take a moment to learn a little about the basics of their construction, installation and other important characteristics. Use this resource as a guide for picking your perfect billet grille.

Fundamentals of Billet Grille Style

Billet grilles are crafted only from materials that are proven to be rugged, dependable and long-lasting.

Aluminum Billet Grilles

The material most widely used in the billet grille industry is aluminum, for good reasons, too. Aluminum is known for its strength, versatility, low-density, durability and resistance to corrosion. Because of its malleability, aluminum can easily be rolled, stamped, drawn, spun, hammered or forged into almost any shape, making it the ideal metal for the automotive and aerospace industries. While there are 7 different types of aluminum alloy, billet grille manufacturers use either the 5xxx or 6xxx series. The difference between these two types is that they are wrought from different alloy components. 5xxx series aluminum uses magnesium as its principle alloy, which makes it mild to moderately strong, and resistant to corrosion. In the 6xxx series, a mixture of magnesium and silicon are used, producing a higher-strength aluminum with excellent corrosion resistance.

Stainless Steel Billet Grilles

Known the world over for its strength and corrosion resistance, stainless steel is a popular metal used for crafting billet grilles. The reason that it resists rust so successfully is that it has a high chromium content. In fact, for steel to be considered stainless, it needs to have at least a 10.5% chromium content. Plus, stainless steel is incredibly tough, resilient and easily fashioned into a multitude of forms and shapes.

Just like the aluminum, there are two types of stainless steel used in billet grilles. The more economical of the two, 409 series stainless steel, is commonly used for many different automotive accessories because of its sturdiness. The other type of stainless steel, 304, is another popular automotive metal. It has a higher chromium content for the ultimate in corrosion resistance.

ABS Plastic Billet Grilles

The most cost effective billet grille material available is the ABS Plastic. Widely used across the entire automobile accessories spectrum, ABS Plastic is a lightweight, rigid and durable thermoplastic material. While it is not as strong as stainless steel or aluminum, ABS Plastic still makes an excellent medium for building billet grilles because the plastic is impervious to rust and quite durable. For added customization, it can usually be painted to match or accent your stock paint.

To Billet or Not to Billet

After deciding what materials you would like you grille to be made out of, billet grilles can be divided into two camps based on their installation type: bolt over billet grilles and replacement billet grilles. Their installation is quick and easy. In fact my 8 year old son installed our bolt over grille on our 02 Ford F150 in nearly 5 minutes! :)

Chris Andretti is a writer and aftermarket accessory specialist for AutoAnything.com. Visit their site for billet grilles including Carriage Works billet grilles and Trenz billet grilles as well.

Role Playing Games - Character Guide 1

Introduction: In role playing games, they win through skill and skill alone. No, they dont cause massive damage in a single blow. They cant take hit after hit without faltering. They cant hide in the shadow of a nearby sentry. They are simply, routinely successful. They are more likely than most to hit a foe (as long as it isnt a defender), or dodge a blow (if it doesnt come from an attacker), or spot an ambush (that isnt being initiated by a trickster). These are the achievers of the RPG world, the characters who win simply because they are better at succeeding an action than others.

In QoTR, the achiever is represented by the Aptitude preference. These characters routinely get bonuses on checks, improving their chance of succeeding whatever action they take.

Player Tactics: When you elect to play an achiever, understand both the strengths and weaknesses of the character type. An achiever has a high chance of succeeding any action, but it is not as good at any individual action as a specialist in that style. An achiever cant deal as much damage as an attacker, avoid attacks as effectively as a defender, or sneak as well as a trickster. An achiever minimizes the advantages of enemy specialties and maximizes the impact of their weaknesses. Conversely, the achiever maximizes any other specialties it may have (whatever you are good at, being able to succeed more often only improves the value) and minimizes the impact of those areas it leaves open.

An achiever is not strictly a front-lines fighter. This isnt to say they are weak, but they should not be put into a position that emphasizes immediate and direct confrontation with the foe (unless, of course, they are also skilled attackers!) An achiever works best when it is in a position to gauge its opponents strengths and weaknesses, so it can capitalize on them. If the opponent is weak against stealth, the achiever might take to the shadows to claim an advantage. If the foes defenses are poor, the achiever should attack as hard as it can.

On the flip side, the achiever is not necessarily a jack-of-all-trades. In role playing games in general, and definitely in QoTR, most characters are specialized in more than one broad area. If youve got it, flaunt it, as the saying goes. And if you are an achiever, youve got more of it than most. Adding specialization as an achiever compounds the threat of whatever your other specialties are. An attacker or blaster may be scary for their ability to deal phenomenal damage, but when they also have a good chance of hitting so they can deal that damage, they become tremendously dangerous.

Although all combinations have merit, achievers often work best when combined with specializations that rely on succeeding actions. Attackers, defenders, and tricksters who double as achievers maximize the value of both specialties.

GM Tactics: Achievers generally make good choices of opponents in an RPG. They are particularly effective as elite foesnot quite boss enemies but still ranking above fodder opponents. Used wisely, an achiever can put players through a lot of stress while not presenting a tremendous threat of imminent destruction.

An achiever hits often, and is generally difficult to hit. Other specialties aside, they tend to have less impact on any action than most. You probably want to keep numbers roughly even in battles against achievers, since hit after hit will quickly wear a party down, and achievers might have some trouble when faced with large groupshigh success chance or not, the dice will roll high eventually! This is a primary reason for using achievers as elite foes, since such opponents tend to fight the characters with similar numbers.

From a game masters standpoint, adding a heavy offensive specialty to an achiever is a dangerous proposition. As always, challenging the players is good, but if the party is wiped out, well, there goes the story! However, adding a defensive specialty to an achiever can create a particularly annoying opponent, and one who (due to its improved ability to hit) poses a credible threat. Other miscellaneous specialties, such as trickster or speedster, also make good combinations for an achiever.

Achievers are the masters of succeeding actionsfrequently, reliably, and without significant cost. They may not pack the raw power of other character types, but their skill and versatility allows them to win through either exploitation or attrition. Whatever your other specialty may be, skill as an achiever improves ita fact that all players should use, but GMs in particular should take to heart as both a promise and a warning.

Finance Affiliate Marketing Part 1

Many affiliates get drawn towards choosing finance as their niche due to the large rewards that are on offer. Large commissions and monthly payouts can easily move into 6-figures making finance affiliate programs the most competitive and lucrative on the market.

Any affiliate program that provides large payouts will in turn provide stiff competition. Do a search on Google for loans and you will get 183,000,000 web sites related to this topic. Mortgages provides 110,000,000 results and credit cards around 90,000,000.

With all this competition you may ask yourself how you can have a chance to get your slice of this very lucrative pie? How much commitment in time and investment is it going to take to see positive results? The facts are that it is going to take some serious work to get your foot inside the door and plenty of time and patience sitting at your desktop before you see the tide turning and light at the end of the tunnel of success.

The first few months should be set aside for doing research into the financial niche you intend to promote as an affiliate. Will it be loans, mortgages, investment, forex trading, credit cards, bad credit or one of the many other niche areas connected to the financial industry.

This is very important and if you have a serious interest or knowledge in an area then it would make complete sense to target this niche as opposed to promoting an area such as Mutual Funds in which you have absolutely no knowledge of and have little interest in. If you have a genuine interest in currency trading then Forex affiliate programs would be an advantageous way to get your affiliate marketing off to a good start. The reasons for this will be explained later.

One thing is for sure, you need to structure and plan your affiliate business from the very beginning. Doing some serious research into the market you intend to promote will save you a lot of time and bad decision making down the road. The time you invest in this initial market research will be the foundations of your success. Failure to do this will mean you will make more mistakes, change tactics and will just confuse your business because of its lack of solid directional planning.

Around 90% of finance affiliates fail because of bad planning and mismanagement. So many think that the business will be a breeze and are simply blinded by the huge commissions on offer. They will do some simple promotions here and there, build a basic web site, a little marketing and get disheartened when they do not see any positive results mirrored in their affiliate stats.

Many affiliates at this point simply drop-out and look for easier pickings in the affiliate marketing arena. Their place is taken by new affiliates also looking to strike affiliate marketing gold with finance programs and so the whole cycle continues once more.

Like any affiliate program out there you will find that it is only a small minority that actually makes the majority of the commission on offer. You can call these Super Affiliates if you wish or Online Marketing Gurus but one thing is for sure, they will not reveal their successful marketing techniques to any new affiliate that comes along. They will hide their marketing secrets and protect their income very aggressively.

Finance affiliate programs are not for the faint hearted. It takes a very special type of individual to succeed. You must have a genuine interest in the niche you intend to promote, be prepared for hard work, have the time commitment needed, dont get disheartened with little set-backs, be prepared to promote aggressively and most of all have a yearning for success.

If all this sounds like I have just described your persona then welcome aboard the finance affiliate roller-coaster ride. The ride may be bumpy at times but stick with it. You may find that it could be the most lucrative ride you ever dared to take! See you in Part 2.

Web Hosting: Price Vs. Quality

As the Internet expands, demand for different web-hosting services increases proportionally. Additional numbers of people are joining the web world every day with personal sites for their business or organization. Many people choose low-cost solutions to host their web site, but it if your web site is important to you, you should consider quality as much as price.

For instance, putting your site on a low costs web host can affect the speed at which customers access it. Many surfers on broadband connections get annoyed when sites server does not keep up with their connection. If it does not offer fast access and downloads, people will be reluctant to revisit the site. They would leave the place with a negative impression about you result in long term economic loss.

A well-established web host may charge more for the facilities but in the long run they may offer better and latest services complying with the trends in the market. Some high quality hosts even offers free add-ones and promotions. The features like free web site builder or support for MySQL databases ensure that the ultimate cost involved in building a productive website are a lesser amount. These facilities may not be available when one goes for a cheaper web host or you may have to pay extra for them!

The cheapest web hosts may not always have a good reputation, either. Reputable companies in the web hosting business have a well-established infrastructure that ensures better services. Their servers tend to be down less frequently and they are less likely to go out of business (and take your data with them!).

Thus it is advisable to check out a hosts reputation and quality as well as its price. The good news is, there are some web hosts that offer both outstanding service as well as competitive prices. Dont sell yourself short with anything else!

Fixing Health Care

The cost of health insurance continues to climb unabated. As the number of uninsured in America swells to 45 million people, many look to our political leaders for answers and relief.

Presidential campaign rhetoric about how to control skyrocketing health care costs provides only short-term solutions focused on the sticker price. But the administration should address long-term solutions to the spiraling crisis.

In 2002, the United States spent $1.6 trillion, or nearly 15 percent of GDP, on health expenditures. Medicare, the governments single payer model for seniors, spent $267 billion.

Analysts project national health care expenditures to reach $3.1 trillion by 2012 nearly twice the amount spent in 2002. The dramatic numbers have a tendency to overstate the obvious for many, the cost of insurance can be as much, if not more, than rent or a mortgage. Until the administration places its focus on the rising cost of health care, those costs will continue to escalate far exceeding the rates of earnings. Whether you subscribe to a higher monthly premium charged by an HMO or a payroll tax collected by Uncle Sam, someone has to pay the bill. Shifting the burden from our premium bill to our tax bill is not an acceptable solution.

There are basic initiatives that policymakers need to address in an effort to streamline the delivery system and minimize the soaring cost of health care.

First, encourage investments in technology improvements across all levels of the health care delivery system, including insurers, hospitals and physicians. For a $1.6 trillion industry in the 21st century, the technology employed is comparable to driving a Model T on a highway full of modern cars.

Consider the banking industry. A simple piece of plastic, from any bank, allows you to purchase anything from antiques on eBay to milk at the local grocery store. In health care, the piece of plastic serving as an ID card serves little purpose other than to inform the physician where to send the bill. Physicians and their staffs then spend an inordinate amount of time completing the proper paperwork to get paid.

Inefficiencies are expensive. Administrative expenses are the fastest-rising component of health expenditures. In 2002, public and private insurance spent $105 billion on administrative expenses, almost 13 percent more than in 2001. Support for developing common standards and technology improvements is necessary to eliminate the costly inefficiencies that contribute to rising health costs.

Next, support the release of cost and quality information. Most of us know where we can find the best deal on a car, mortgage or even shoes. But how many people can afford to buy something without ever knowing the price?

Do you know the average cost of a physician office visit? We have grown accustomed to the minimal office co-payment as the benchmark for the cost of delivering care. Yet who would seriously consider a $10 co-payment a sufficient amount for physician treatment?

As consumers, we are asked to bear a greater share of health care costs. In return, we should demand more information about price and quality. Disclosure of such information has the potential to have a profound effect on consumer behavior and the cost and quality of health care. Such transparency should reform inequities and deficiencies in the cost of health services.

There is no single magic bullet to solving the issues facing the American health care system. Our system is an immense and complex web of interdependencies. Expanded public financing and subsidies will provide only short-term relief unless the drivers of health care expenditures are resolved. Solely addressing the problem by throwing more money at it, public or private, while ignoring the elephant in the living room serves little to alleviate the large financial burden the health care system has become.

We must accept the fact that health care in the United States is expensive and get to work on long-term solutions that will effectively control costs. We have the ability to control health care costs in this country; what we lack are the commitment and stamina to get it done.

Broker Training

Whether you are looking to become a stockbroker, futures broker, insurance agent or real estate agent - you will need to complete broker training to get a necessary license. Online or distance training is meant to give you an understanding of the job, but also to prepare you for whichever licensing exam you will be sitting for. For the above careers, becoming a broker means completing training and passing a license test.

Stockbroker

To become a licensed stockbroker you must complete broker training to study and pass the Series 7 exam and most likely the Series 63 test as well. Other exams may be required as you move along your broker career. This type of broker career is normally for people looking to earn money through commission sales. Once the Series 7 is passed, there will be ongoing training to help you become successful on your job.

A stockbroker will normally train to sell all types of investments such as bonds, stocks, mutual funds and others. This is a profession where the broker learning and training really never ends. How to prospect, learning new product and other issues are a continuous part of being a financial sales broker. There is also continuing education that will be required.

Futures and Commodities

An career area of the online broker training environment is the futures and commodities market. To become one, a person must pass the Series 3 exam. This test normally requires 4-6 weeks of online or distance training before a person can pass this license exam. Futures brokers work in a high paced and fairly high stressed area of the financial market. The person will work within the FOREX and foreign exchanges. The training is ongoing in this industry as well.

There are many fast moving shifts and parts to the commodities and futures market, so a broker must be aware of not only the procedures to help him or her earn money, but the rules and regulations associated with his license. There is continuing education (CE) that is required ongoing.

Insurance

The insurance industry has grown tremendously over the years and there is a good amount of broker training that is needed to not only pass your state insurance exam, but to become educated on what it takes to become a successful broker - on the job. Insurance agents can be licensed in life, property, health and more. Online training is used in this industry to prepare trainees to pass the state exam and each person must maintain their broker license through effective continuing education training.

Each state has it's own exam that agents must train to pass. The basics of insurance type are part of each test, but there are also state laws that pertain only to that state - which is part of the training.

Real Estate

A very popular profession where thousands are training this very moment is that of a real estate broker. As with insurance, each state has requirements that each person must meet to become a licensed real estate broker. A pre license test must be passed and then depending on the state - other exams as well.

Real estate agents are not only training to become licensed. They are learning ongoing. This constant education process takes them from their first moments of studying to become a broker, to post license learning, to CE, and also "on the job" training - which is never ending.

If you are looking to take advantage of the unlimited earning power that being an agent or broker gives, you may want to look into what it will take for you to become one. Many of these careers can be studied for online while you are still with your current job. Some can even be practiced part time. To become successful at being a stockbroker, insurance agent or real estate sales person - it starts with exam preparation and licensing, but ultimately your on the job training and ability to communicate and work hard will be what makes you successful.

Best Of Luck!

Why A High Quality Auto Sound System Is A Great Investment In Your Automobile

For those people who love music and like to take it with them, there are many systems that you can plug your music right in to. It doesn't matter what kind of mp3 player you may have all of the newer stereos have the plug in for the mp3 connect.

Many of us know that bringing an mp3 player around with you everywhere you go is a lot better then bringing a book full of CDs with you. It is also a good tool because a lot of people only like one or two songs from a CD so now you can just download the certain ones you want directly to your mp3. Having a sound system that you can just plug your mp3 up to is better then having a ton of CDs.

I don't know about you but I am totally fascinated by audio books. You will learn that these books can teach you about your audio that you may have and teach you how to fix them if they may become broken. So if youre going on a trip and somehow your stereo stops working you might be able to fix it using the book you had brought with you. You might also be able to fix something you had wanted to fix for a while.

I typically try to find books that kids like so they are not bored the whole trip. This gets them to start reading and so they are not really worried about the, are we there yet part. Great sound systems dont only sound good but they make the music that you are listening to sound a lot better and cleaner. This is not only true when it comes to news or just talk shows but it is also good for everything you might think of when it comes to music.

When you start looking for the perfect sound system for you be sure to look for the one with all the things you want including all the features you may be looking for. You can find systems today that have a built in GPS or DVD player or radios, mp3s anything you can think of can most likely be in a sound system too. Pick the sound system you really want and try and make it last as long as possible and enjoy it for as long as it lasts because you may never find one like it again A premium sound system is something that will stay with your car until it dies or you trade it in but try to make your choice long before you are looking to trade it in. At the same time a system is a good reason to keep the vehicle longer instead of trading it in. I wouldnt even bother installing a premium sound system in a car if I was just going to trade it in so if you are going to be trading your car in and think you may get a better deal because of it having a good sound system think again. The idea is to install a sound system so you will have it to listen to for a long time.
